BRIAN’S CONTRIBUTION TO WBK
Brian was Chris’ primary coach and mentor at BBC, spending hour after hour imparting his wisdom of the sweet science
Chris’ success as an amateur boxer and his boxing technique/style (boxer-puncher) is largely due to Brian’s coaching and teaching, which was equal parts theory and practical. ‘The practical’ included many intense sparring sessions between the two.
Brian’s influence is felt weekly in WBK classes – Literally. He trains in various levels at Champagne 2-3x/week. He raises the level of intensity in the classes he joins. You always know where he is in the circuit by the thundering sound of his punches or his rapid rhythm on the speed bags
Always the coach, he often takes a brief break from his own workout to coach a student and correct their punching techniques and combinations
